## Scope

- Business and website:
- Services and genuine service areas:
- Questions agreed with the owner:
- Check date and Irish location/language settings:
- Reports available (Search Console, Bing Webmaster or none):
- Permissions or evidence still missing:

## Check each important page and public profile

- [ ] Confirm the service page loads and record its canonical URL.
- [ ] Check sitemap inclusion and links from related pages.
- [ ] Record crawl restrictions, robots directives and any firewall response.
- [ ] Check Google and Bing indexing using owner reports where available. Mark missing access unknown.
- [ ] Compare name, address or genuine service area, phone, hours and website across the site and business profiles.
- [ ] Save both sources for conflicting facts and ask the owner which is correct.
- [ ] Check current service descriptions, relevant mentions and genuine reviews; save dates and URLs.
- [ ] Check that opening answers and FAQs are clear and accurate.
- [ ] Compare schema with visible content and record errors or unsupported fields.
- [ ] Check links between the relevant guide, service and contact routes.
- [ ] Sample the agreed questions in ChatGPT, Copilot, Perplexity and Google AI experiences where available.
- [ ] Record unavailable features and inaccessible sources separately from negative results.

## Status labels

- Needs fixing: evidence confirms a problem. State the evidence.
- Checked: the specific check passes on the recorded date. State what was checked.
- Unknown: evidence or access is missing. State what is needed.
- Needs checking: a possible problem has not yet been verified. State the next check.

Proposed priority: confirmed access problems on important pages and incorrect contact facts first; missing answers, confusing descriptions and broken internal links next. Agree the order with the business owner. Do not turn missing data into a score of zero.

## Repeat this record for each question

- Exact question:
- Date, time and location:
- Assistant, model/feature and account/search settings where visible:
- Saved answer or screenshot reference:
- Business mentioned? yes / no / unable to check:
- Business cited with a link? yes / no / unable to check:
- Incorrect facts, with the source of the correct fact:
- Every cited source URL:
- Relevant page reached? indexed? blocked? unknown? Record separately:
- Public facts compared and any conflicts:
- Fix proposed:
- Status and evidence supporting it:
- Priority and reason:
- Person who approves the fix:
- Person who carries it out:
- DIY / web developer / specialist help:
- Re-check date and pass condition:
- Re-check result and evidence:

## Repeat this action record for findings outside an assistant answer

- Page or profile URL:
- Dated evidence and conflicting source, if any:
- Status and what is still unknown:
- Owner-confirmed correct fact:
- Proposed fix and priority:
- DIY / web developer / specialist help:
- Person approving / person doing the work:
- Pass condition and agreed re-check date:
- Dated result, saved beside the original evidence:

## How to use the labels: illustrative examples

These are examples of report wording, not observations about a real business.

- Needs fixing: old directory phone differs from the owner-confirmed number. Save both entries, ask the profile owner to correct the listing, then re-check its public page.
- Unknown: service page loads, but no owner indexing report is available. Request the URL report; do not call the page unindexed on that evidence alone.
- Needs checking: an assistant describes an old service. Save question, date, location, answer and cited source. Verify which source is obsolete before proposing a correction. Record a source correction separately from a changed assistant answer.

Keep the original record when you re-check. A result is a dated observation, not a guaranteed ranking. This worksheet does not authorise account changes, website edits or contact with another person.
